RIVNE EUROFORUM.Energy Efficiency. Sustainable Community Development

The event “Rivne Euroforum: Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Community Development” was held in Rivne not by chance: it is the city with the highest concentration of effective energy managers and innovative models for achieving climate neutrality.

The forum participants worked in three panel discussions to discuss the main energy-efficient innovations, measures for their implementation, the main problems and ways to solve them.
Thus, Rivne is the only city in Ukraine and one of 52 pilot cities in Europe implementing the project “Creating a NetZero Concept for Rivne”. It has received funding through NetZeroCities from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under a grant agreement.
In general, by implementing the NetZero Project Strategy, Rivne should achieve climate neutrality (“zero” CO2 emissions) by 2050, experts said.
